Handmade Sun Rising/Setting with Palm Tree Embroidered Iron on patch Measures 3.5 inches by 2.5 inches This is a handmade patch that I made on my home embroidery machine. I used polyester embroidery thread, a fusible fleece for the backing, and double-sided heat activated adhesive on the back. Great for decorating/embellishing your jeans, shirts, jackets, and backpacks. For use on cotton or linen fabrics. Do not use on knit or other delicate fabrics. I have found that the patches iron on well when you place the patch where you want it, put a dry cloth or piece of fabric over that, place the iron on top of that for about 5 seconds. Then repeat. If you leave the iron on for too long, it could burn the patch. If you place the iron directly on the patch you could burn the patch. So, best to have a cloth over the patch before ironing. I would suggest making a small basic stitch around the outside. That will enable it to survive being washed in the machine if using it to adorn your clothing. You could also sew it on.
