Iron fabric for 5 seconds on a flat surface to preheat fabric. 2: If there is a white paper backing on the patch, slowly remove it from offered fold on paper backing 3: Place the patch in the desired area to be ironed on. A hard surface flat surface will work better than an ironing board due to the surface of an ironing board. 4: Place the iron on the patch and apply medium pressure for 10-30 seconds or longer depending on your choice of fabric and your iron’s instructions. 5: Ironing the underside of the fabric once the patch has been adhered to the front of the garment may help thicker or fully embroidered patches stick to the fabric better. Please note: It is always best to protect the patch from your iron`s heat by covering the patch with a thin tea towel or piece of before you iron. The thickness of the protective cloth may change the length of time it takes for the patch to properly adhere to the fabric. The cloth or paper should be placed upon the top of the patch that will be ironed on. Sewing the patch in place will always provide permanent adhesion Thank you for choosing GroovyPatch!
